Thermal imaging cameras
An infrared (thermal) camera reveals what your eyes can’t: hidden moisture, missing insulation, air leaks, and overheating electrical. It reads surface temperature, so it doesn’t see through walls — it shows the thermal patterns that betray a problem behind them. Phone-attachment models are the budget entry point and surprisingly capable; standalone units add higher resolution and a built-in screen. Resolution (measured in pixels) is the spec that matters most for picking out small anomalies. A great all-round diagnostic tool for moisture, energy, and mold investigations.
