Do mold colors tell you how dangerous it is?
Not reliably. The CDC and EPA are clear that you cannot identify a mold species, or judge its risk, by color alone. The same species can appear in different colors depending on its age, the surface it grows on, and the moisture available. Very different molds can also look identical.
