Get the conditions right before you pick up
The most common way a rental gets wasted is shooting in the wrong conditions. Thermal cameras see surface temperature, not moisture or air directly, so you need a temperature difference to create contrast.
- For the building envelope (air leaks, missing insulation), you need a meaningful indoor-outdoor temperature difference, commonly cited as at least 18°F (10°C).
