The pattern of elevated readings often points directly to the source: a horizontal band along the bottom of an exterior wall suggests rising damp; a vertical streak suggests a plumbing leak; a circular pattern on a ceiling suggests a roof leak.

Tape-lift sampling: identifying visible patches

When visual inspection finds a patch and the homeowner wants confirmation, tape-lift sampling identifies the genus with high confidence. Detection across seasons
